If you love reading stories, true ones, look up Mary Summer Rain, she speaks TO you, and is very inspiring, and also, sometimes, saddens you. It is worth picking up all of her books, particularly the story of “No Eyes”, a Native American elder that teaches her things about the way the world has changed, and the changes to come. These are older books, but not time sensitive. Actually, oddly was ahead of it's time, so much so, that I had to put the books down now and again to catch my breath..
It's not that it is the world's answer, but it, in my extremely humble opinion, surely explains and defines a lot..this woman has about 7-10 novels that track her experiences with an elder Native American woman, the elder woman's life stories changed the author's life, she also stopped writing. I am not sure why, but she did give her readers a “goodbye” notice..I was truly saddened.
Winston Churchill once said something very philisophical, and very deep.. “Man will occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of the time he will pick himself up and continue on”
~That has become my favorite quote, maybe my basic theme for the new year, remebering that will help me get by…knowing that other people realize this makes it easier to swallow the proverbial bitter pill.
Okay, that more than sums it up..
